This is an experience which will remain fixed in your memory for the rest of your days. Chama may well be the finest trout fishing destination you have ever experienced, one of the few places in the world where you can fish for the exquisite and elusive Rio Grande Cutthroat, a very unique strain that we have gone to great lengths to re-introduce back into their native habitat here in the San Juan Mountains.

Whether you are a seasoned veteran who brings your own custom tied flies, or a relative newcomer to fly fishing, you and your companions can and will catch trout here. Streams
From the upper Poso Creek to the high canyon headwaters of the Brazos River to the broad expanse of the Poso Valley, the opportunities abound for stream fishing here at Chama. Here at Chama our streams hold Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Cutt’bows, Rainbow Trout, and the rare and elusive Rio Grande Cutthroat. Lakes
Here at Chama, we have over a dozen high country lakes which hold heavy bodied 14 to 22 inch trout which will truly test your fishing skills. These trophies are an integral part ofwhy the Lodge and Ranch at Chama has earned and maintains a reputation for fishing excellence that is second to none.

Trips and Pricing
Guided Fishing & Lodging: $675 per person ($355 per person per day for fishing plus $320 per person per day for
lodging (double occupancy)
Fly fishing is catch and release, no limit. All fishing is with single barbless hooks only.
Other Activities Offered: $675 per person per day (hiking and sporting clays)
Day Fishing: $450 per person per day (minimum of 2 guests) picnic lunch included (No alcoholic beverages allowed)
Cast & Blast: $755 per person per day. Late August only (Fish & Grouse) Limit is 2 grouse per person per day.
Wildlife/Ranch Tours: $200 per truck (4 people maximum)
All activities are Guided, and we do not offer Half Day Rates!
Deluxe Suites: Additional $200 per day per Suite (4 Suites)
Single Occupancy: Additional $100 per day per room (Subject to availability)
Fishing License: $40 per person (Valid for Calendar Year)
Grouse License: $60.00 per person
